Andreas Klamt

Andreas Klamt is a highly experienced professional in the field of computational chemistry. Currently serving as a Computational Chemistry Consultant at MrCOSMO Consulting since August 2023 and a Senior Scientific Fellow at Dassault Systèmes since September 2019, Andreas also holds the position of CEO at COSMOlogic since March 1999. From February 2012 to 2017, Andreas was an Honorary Professor in Physical and Theoretical Chemistry at the University of Regensburg, where an annual block course on "Computational Fluid Phase Thermodynamics" was taught. Previously, Andreas worked at Bayer from April 1987 to March 1999 as a Computational Chemist, ultimately leading the Computational Chemistry department. Educational qualifications include a Diploma in Theoretical Solid State Physics from the University of Göttingen and a PhD from the Max-Planck-Institute for Metal Research, awarded at the University of Stuttgart, focusing on Hydrogen in Metals.
