Bill Grimes

Bill Grimes served as the Simulia R&D, Abaqus Analysis Products Development Director at Dassault Systemes in 2011, where they led the development of various Abaqus analysis products. Prior to this role, they were the Abaqus/Explicit Development Director, designing and implementing domain parallelization for enhanced performance. Grimes began their career at Hibbitt, Karlsson, & Sorensen, Inc., where they held various positions from Abaqus/Explicit Developer to Abaqus/Explicit Development Manager between 1993 and 2004. They hold a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
