Jerry Wan

Jerry Wan is currently the Development Senior Manager of ABAQUS Solver Arch at Dassault Systemes, where they focus on enhancing the performance and robustness of Abaqus/Pre and /Standard for large models. Previously, Jerry held roles such as Software Development Manager and Software Developer within the Geometry and Meshing Group at Dassault Systemes, significantly improving mesh generation capabilities. They earned a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and have extensive experience in finite element analysis, geometric modeling, and computer-aided design from positions at organizations like the Chinese Academy of Space Technology and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Jerry continues their education with a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
