Angele Vellake

Angele Vellake has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Angele is currently working at Data Axle as the Director of Data Strategy since November 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Blackbaud in different positions. Their roles at Blackbaud include Principal Data Scientist in IT & RDO from June 2021 to October 2023, Manager of Data Science from January 2018 to June 2021, Database Programmer/Analyst from September 2014 to December 2017, and Database Research Analyst from September 2012 to September 2014. Before joining Blackbaud, Angele was the Assistant Director of Student and Recent Alumni Giving at Rochester Institute of Technology from September 2009 to August 2012.

Angele Vellake completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Economics at Rochester Institute of Technology from 2005 to 2009. Angele then pursued a Master of Business Administration degree in Marketing Research/Applied Statistics at the same institution from 2010 to 2012. Later, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Information Systems with a specialization in Data Analytics from Boston University between 2015 and 2018.
