John Hamer

John Hamer is currently the Managing Partner at DCVC Bio and an Invited Lecturer at the University of California, Davis Graduate School of Management. John has held various executive positions in companies such as Monsanto, Chromatin, Inc., and Burrill & Company. With a background in biological sciences, John has also served as Professor at Purdue University and Editor-In-Chief at Academic Press Inc. John is known for their expertise in venture capital investing in life sciences and leading corporate venture capital groups in technology impacting agriculture and bioprocessing. Additionally, John has a Ph.D. in Microbiology from the University of California, Davis.
