Charlotte Pierce Scott is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Pennsylvania, having started in August 2024. Prior to this role, Charlotte served as the Fielding and Qualitative Research Manager at Data for Progress since June 2022 and was a Data Analyst at Purple Strategies from August 2020 to May 2022. Experience also includes analyzing crime and redistricting data at the Violence, Law and Politics Lab at the University of Chicago from June 2018 to June 2020. Additional positions held include Community Engagement Associate at Chicago Ideas, Events Ambassador at Free the Facts, Health Educator at Peer Health Exchange, and Seasonal Associate at Purple Strategies. Charlotte supported the University of Chicago Institute of Politics as a Fellows Ambassador and worked as a Classroom Aid for the Neighborhood Schools Program. Charlotte holds a Bachelor's degree in Public Policy Analysis, cum laude, from the University of Chicago, and a high school diploma, cum laude, from National Cathedral School.
