Dr. Kevin O'Hare

Dr. Kevin O'Hare has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Dr. Kevin began their career as a Teacher of Mathematics at the Southern Education and Library Board from November 2009 to June 2010. Dr. Kevin then continued teaching at the same organization as a Teacher of Mathematics from August 2010 to August 2014. Afterwards, they pursued their passion for research and worked as a PHD Research Student at Queen's University Belfast from December 2015 to June 2020. In 2019, they transitioned to the field of data analysis and development, starting as a Kdb+ Developer at AquaQ Analytics from May 2019 to May 2023. Dr. Kevin then moved on to Data Intellect, working as a Mid Kdb+ Developer from May 2019 to present.

Dr. Kevin O'Hare completed their education at various institutions and holds multiple degrees. In 2004 to 2006, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from Queen's University Belfast. Dr. Kevin then pursued further studies at Universidad de Granada in 2006 to 2007, where they received another Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics. In 2008 to 2009, they obtained a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) Secondary Mathematics from Queen's University Belfast. Continuing their education, they obtained a Master's Degree in Software Development from Queen's University Belfast in 2014 to 2015. Lastly, from 2015 to 2020, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in the field of "Linking Big Administrative Data" at Queen's University Belfast. In addition to their educational background, Dr. O'Hare obtained the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services in February 2022.
