Craig Standley

Director of Software Engineering at Data I/O

Craig Standley has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Craig worked as a Director of Software Engineering at Data I/O starting in February 2023. Prior to that, they had a long tenure at Boeing, where they held various management roles. As a Software Engineering Manager, they led teams in creating aircraft test flight configuration tracking databases, on-board server systems, and data repositories. Craig also managed the development of web-based flight data test reporting and query tools. In this role, they collaborated with teams in Boeing India, allocated budgets for offshore software development, and promoted collaboration between US and India personnel. Craig developed processes and policies for COVID-19 safety in a lab environment, which were later adopted for use on flight test aircraft. Craig provided oversight and approval of budgets, technical products, staffing, and design processes. Craig also developed and executed integrated project plans, collaborated on requirements, architecture, and test cases with internal customers and business partners, and engaged with senior leadership and key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Technical Project Manager and a Lead Software Engineer at Boeing. Craig began their career as an Embedded Software Engineer at Data I/O in 1998.

Craig Standley attended the University of Washington from 1993 to 1998, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Physics.
