Charlie Furniss

Charlie Furniss is a Full Stack Software Developer at Data Language since April 2021, following experience as a Software Engineer at Findmypast from April 2018 to April 2021 and as a Junior Developer at Settled from September 2016 to April 2018. Prior to a career in software development, Charlie held various editorial roles, including Deputy Editor at Vodafone Digital Parenting and Project Manager for Lloyd's City Risk Index, alongside experience as a Copy Editor for the Grove Dictionary of American Music at Oxford University Press. Charlie's educational background includes a Postgraduate Certificate in Periodical Journalism from the University of the Arts London and a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Jazz Studies from the University of Nottingham, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the same institution. Additionally, Charlie has pursued ongoing education through the Wine & Spirit Education Trust since 2011.
