Sandra Schliszio is currently an Executive Officer at the Data Protection Commission Ireland since April 2023, having previously held various roles at Conrad Dublin from March 2022 to October 2023, including C&B Operations Host and C&E Supervisor. Sandra served as a Certified Life Coach at Your Life Coached between October 2021 and September 2022, and worked as a Service Desk Analyst at Irish Life from May 2020 to October 2021. Prior to these positions, Sandra had an extensive career at Xerox as an Escalation Specialist from July 2010 to March 2019, and briefly worked as a Localisation QA Tester at Activision in May 2010. Early culinary experience includes roles as a Commis Pastry Chef at Town Bar & Grill and Radisson Blu, and positions in hospitality at PayPal and Trinity Capital Hotel. Educational qualifications include an Advanced Diploma in Personal Leadership and Executive Coaching from Kingstown College, a Bachelor of Arts in Hospitality Administration/Management from Technological University Dublin, and a FETAC Award in Culinary Skills from Failte Ireland.

The Data Protection Commission is Ireland’s independent supervisory authority tasked with upholding individual data protection rights and regulating the data processing activities of the organisations operating within our jurisdiction. The DPC is the Irish supervisory authority responsible for monitoring the application of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and we also have functions and powers related to other regulatory frameworks, including the Irish ePrivacy Regulations (2011) and the EU Directive known as the Law Enforcement Directive (LED).
