Katie Huynh

Katie Huynh has a diverse range of work experience. Katie has held multiple leadership roles at Data Science UCSB, including President and Chair of Directors. In these positions, they coordinated communication, managed social media platforms, and programmed the club's website. Katie has also been involved in various roles at other organizations, such as Vice President of Administration at Alpha Kappa Psi and Marketing and Branding Coordinator at the UCSB PSTAT Department. Katie has gained valuable industry experience through internships, including as a Cloud Solutions Architect Intern at UC Santa Barbara, a Product Design Analyst Intern at Cured, and a Visual Designer at ISBER. Additionally, they have served as a Data Engineering Intern at the Neuroscience Research Institute, where they developed automated behavioral training systems and received a research grant. Katie's work experience also includes their involvement with Healthy Lifestyle for Youth, where they held the role of Vice President and Executive Secretary. Katie has a strong background in research, having been a SMTRI Research Intern at the Gevirtz Graduate School of Education.

Katie Huynh attended Dougherty Valley High School from 2015 to 2019. Katie did not pursue a specific degree or field of study during their time there. After completing high school, they enrolled in UC Santa Barbara in 2019 and is expected to graduate in 2023. Katie is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics and Data Science.
