Sandeep Khuperkar

Sandeep Khuperkar has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Sandeep is currently the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of DSW | Data Science Wizards, an AI and Data Science start-up. At DSW, Sandeep focuses on offering platforms, solutions, and services in data analytics and AI to help enterprises make data-driven decisions. DSW aims to democratize the power of AI and Data Science by providing open-source technology solutions and training.

Prior to DSW, Sandeep worked at Ashnik (Ashnik Technology Solutions Pvt. Ltd) from 2014 to 2021. Sandeep served as a Director on the Board of Directors and later as the CTO and Director. Ashnik is an IT solutions and consulting company that brings open-source products to the market and offers cloud-based solutions for business transformation.

Before Ashnik, Sandeep held various roles at IBM India Private Limited from 2008 to 2014. Sandeep served as a Group Business Manager for Mainframe sales, Deputy General Manager for System z, and National Business Manager for Linux on System z.

Sandeep also has experience working at Red Hat India, where they held senior managerial roles in alliances, presales, and global professional services from 2002 to 2008.

Earlier in their career, Sandeep worked at Geodesic Information System Limited as a Presales Consultant for SCO Unix, at Lemuir Air Express as an Executive Communication - EDP, and at Intech Exports Private Limited as a Project Engineer.

Sandeep Khuperkar completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electronics, with a focus on Electronics. Sandeep obtained this degree in 1994 from an unnamed institution. Prior to that, they completed their Higher Secondary School education (HSC) at Holy Cross Higher Secondary School in Byron Bazar, Raipur in 1989.

In addition to their formal education, Sandeep has obtained several certifications. In 2018, they completed the "Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy" course from MIT Sloan Executive Education. In 2016, Sandeep participated in the "MANAGING AND TRANSFORMING PROFESSIONAL SERVICE FIRMS - INDIA" program offered by Harvard Business School Executive Education. In 2013, they completed the "IBM Business and Industry Insight Program" at Singapore Management University. Prior to that, in May 2012, Sandeep obtained the "Business & Industry Insight Certification Course - BII" from Singapore Management University. Lastly, in 1997, they earned a Post-Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications from CMC LTD.
