Robert Wheeler

Robert Wheeler currently serves as Senior Vice President of the Enterprise Solutions Group. He is responsible for delivery of services and solutions to the Department of Defense (DoD) covering areas of software development and sustainment; systems integration; digital modernization; cloud computing; data and analytics; cyber security; customer service; information management and enterprise IT.

Previous to this role, Robert served DSA as Vice President of Command Control Communications-Tactical Operations and was responsible for large-scale information technology programs. Prior to joining DSA, Robert was the Chief Operating Officer of Symbolic Systems, Inc., where he oversaw corporate operations and program execution on company contracts.

Robert is an accomplished executive who has successfully held positions of increasing responsibility across defense, automotive, and insurance markets throughout his 25-year career. He has managed large, complex, multi-million-dollar programs, which include developing, implementing and sustaining milSuite, an enterprise business solution serving 1.5 million DoD users; implementing enterprise IT service management solutions for Army business and tactical weapon systems, and providing information management solutions to the Army Acquisition Community.

Robert holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Bloomsburg University and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI). He has supported projects that have received numerous awards of excellence including the Government Information Technology Executive Council Award for Program Management Excellence and multiple Army Knowledge Management Awards for Technology, Process, and Knowledge Management.
