Nick Golovin has a strong background in data management and software development. Nick founded Data Virtuality in 2012 and served as the CEO. Data Virtuality is a data integration and management platform that allows businesses to create a centralized source of data for improved data quality and governance. Prior to founding Data Virtuality, Nick worked at Koch Media GmbH as a Team Leader in Data and Applications. In this role, they led a team responsible for data management and BI reports, and they realized the limitations of available technologies in meeting business requirements. Additionally, Nick worked as a Software Developer at Trifle Net from 1996 to 2001.

Nick Golovin obtained their Associate of Science (AS) degree from Rochester Community and Technical College in 1995-1996. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science from Dnipropetrovs'kij Nacional'nij Universitet, which they completed in 1994-2001. Lastly, they went on to Leipzig University where they earned a Dr.-Ing. (PhD) in Data integration, data warehousing, and machine learning from 2003-2008.
