Renan Gemignani

Renan Gemignani has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and software development. Renan is currently working as the Director of Engineering at Databento since October 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Flow Traders as a Team Lead Equity Connectivity from March 2021 to September 2022, and as a Software Engineer from January 2017 to March 2021. Before joining Flow Traders, Renan worked at Americas Trading Group as a Software Engineer from August 2013 to November 2016. During their time at Americas Trading Group, they integrated ULLink OMS software with the company's internal trading infrastructure, developed FIX OMS software for low-latency risk validation and order routing, and created automated execution algorithms for Brazilian markets using node. Renan started their career as an intern at Morning Star Consulting from March 2012 to June 2013, where they developed mobile web-based platforms, web-based applications for remote learning, desktop software for monitoring offshore oil platforms, and ETL systems using C# and ASP.NET.

Renan Gemignani completed their education in Computer Engineering from 2010 to 2014 at the Instituto Militar de Engenharia.
