Siqi (Suzie) Chen has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2018. In that year, they were a Product Design & Management Intern at Synced 機器之心 and iFlyplus. At Synced 機器之心, they translated user needs and business goals into simple solutions by contributing to the whole design process from research to wireframes and shipping the product. At iFlyplus, they utilized qualitative and quantitative data from user research and comparative analysis to make value-driven design decisions to improve mobile and web UX.

In 2019, Chen worked at Microsoft as a UX Design Intern, 3M as a Graduate Product Strategist, and Northwestern University as a Product Designer and Design Coach. At Microsoft, they explored UX improvements of add-new, theme-editing and branching features by conducting user interview, iterating prototypes and running user testing. At Northwestern University, they were the product design lead and product manager of NetLogo Mobile App and Physics Lab AR app at CCL (the Center for Connected Learning and Computer-Based Modeling) and TIDAL Lab (Tangible Interaction Design and Learning Laboratory).

In 2020, Chen was a Product Design Manager and Lead Product Designer at Databento. As Lead Product Designer, they led the design of the Databento MVP from scratch, which is a platform that unifies the transition of financial data. In 2021, they were a Mentor at adplist.org.

Siqi (Suzie) Chen has a diverse educational background. Siqi (Suzie) completed their Bachelor of Architecture at Shanghai Jiao Tong University from 2013 to 2018. In 2016, they participated in an exchange program at Nanyang Technological University Singapore, studying Interactive Design. Siqi (Suzie) then went on to pursue their Master of Science in Engineering Design & Innovation at Northwestern University from 2018 to 2020. Additionally, they obtained two certifications: Professional Scrum Product Owner I from Scrum.org in May 2020 and Advanced Google Analytics from Google in November 2020.
