Amir Kermany

Amir Kermany currently serves as the Senior Industry Solutions Director in Field Engineering at Databricks, where responsibilities have included roles as Senior Director of Industry GTM and Senior Solutions Architect focused on Health and Life Sciences, leveraging technologies such as Databricks, Spark, and MLFlow. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Shopify, developing data and machine learning pipelines, and as a Senior Staff Scientist at Ancestry.com, applying computational tools to genomic data analysis. Amir has also contributed to academia as a part-time professor at the University of Ottawa and held postdoctoral positions in human genetics and mathematics at institutions such as the University of Chicago and Université de Montréal.
