Arash Khalilnejad

Arash Khalilnejad is a highly experienced AI and machine learning professional currently serving as a Senior AI Engineer at Databricks since June 2025. Prior to this role, Arash worked at Teladoc Health for four years, advancing from Applied ML Scientist III to Staff Applied ML Scientist. Earlier experience includes a position as a Data Scientist at SageGlass and an Applied ML Research Assistant at the Great Lakes Energy Institute. Arash began a career in academia as a Graduate Research Assistant at Florida International University and as a Research Assistant at Amirkabir University of Technology. Arash holds a PhD in Systems & Control Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Tabriz.
