Chris Koester

Chris Koester has a diverse background in data analytics and engineering, with experience spanning over two decades. Prior to joining Databricks as a Specialist Solutions Architect in January 2023, Chris held positions such as Principal Architect at 3Cloud and Senior Consultant at BlueGranite, where responsibilities included leading the design of Data Lakehouse platforms and guiding data strategy. Previous roles include Data Analyst and Business Intelligence Analyst at Indiana University School of Medicine, as well as various positions in the U.S. Coast Guard, where service included work as a Gunner's Mate and participation in Homeland Security's pistol selection team. Chris began the career in technology as a PC Support Intern at Simon Property Group and holds a degree from Indiana University-Purdue University.
