Deeksha Sood

Deeksha Sood is a Senior Engineering Manager at Databricks, starting in January 2025, with a previous role as a Senior Engineering Manager at Atlassian from October 2018 to January 2025. At Atlassian, Deeksha led a team of over 20 engineers in redesigning the Atlassian Marketplace services and played a crucial role in developing a next-generation Commerce platform, simplifying the billing experience and successfully migrating more than 80% of revenue from a legacy system. As the first Principal Engineer for the Atlassian India site, Deeksha contributed to the design of the billing platform and influenced the hiring process for principal engineers. Previous experience includes serving as an Engineer at CureFit, where core services were built, and as a Staff Engineer at @WalmartLabs, leading product matching efforts across multiple markets. Deeksha holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, and attended DPS RK Puram.
