Ginny Wood

Ginny Wood is a highly experienced UX and product designer with a strong background in design systems. Currently serving as a Staff UX Designer at Databricks since February 2021, Ginny leads the design of global user experience patterns and initiated the company's first design system. Prior to Databricks, Ginny worked at Zendesk as a Product Designer focused on design systems, where advocacy for system adoption and coaching were key responsibilities. At DocuSign, Ginny held several roles, including Product Designer II, where reusable UI components were designed, and contributed to the redesign of the product iconography system. Ginny began the design career as a Junior Visual Designer at Steinberg and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Design Studies from San José State University and an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts from West Valley College.
