Hargun Mujral

Hargun Mujral is a Lead NLP Engineer at the Region of Waterloo since September 2022, responsible for designing and deploying chatbots as well as managing interns. Hargun also serves as a Technical Project Manager at WAT.ai, focusing on machine learning applications in prostate cancer prediction. Previous experience includes roles as an ML Ops Engineer and Frontend Developer, and a Machine Learning Intern at StratumAI. Hargun has a background as a Software Engineer Intern at PointClickCare and served as the Director of Technology for the Youth Rising Foundation, where a website was developed and $15,000 was raised. Hargun is pursuing a Bachelor of Software Engineering at the University of Waterloo, with a minor in Combinatorics & Optimization and specialization in Artificial Intelligence, following earlier education at Kwantlen Polytechnic University and Burnsview Secondary School.
