Marcin Wojtyczka

Marcin Wojtyczka is an experienced professional in data engineering and AI solutions, currently serving as the Practice Lead Resident Solutions Architect at Databricks since September 2025, leading professional services engineering teams and collaborating with engineering and product teams to enhance Databricks products. Marcin founded Bluewater Miles in June 2021, organizing expedition sailing trips and practical training. Previous roles at Databricks include Senior Resident Solutions Architect and Resident Solutions Architect, focusing on building complex data engineering and MLOps projects. Marcin's earlier experience includes positions as Principal Data Architect at Alexander Thamm GmbH, Lead Data Architect at Westwing GmbH, and various software engineering roles at Kroll Ontrack, Graw, and Tenneco. Marcin holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor's Degree in Bioinformatics from The Silesian University of Technology, as well as post-graduate studies in IT Resource Management from Warsaw University of Technology.
