Viola(Xiaoyu) Liu

Viola (Xiaoyu) Liu has a diverse work experience starting from 2019. Viola(Xiaoyu) began their career as a Data Intern at the company "陸金所" in December 2019, where they worked until May 2020. During this role, Viola gained experience in data analysis and management.

Viola(Xiaoyu) then interned as a Data Mining Intern at Saint-Gobain from June to July 2020. In this position, they built a data pipeline, extracted data using data mining and web scraping techniques in Python, and integrated newly collected data with historical data stored in Oracle.

Viola worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from March to September 2021. Viola(Xiaoyu)'sresponsibilities in this role included assisting with research activities and contributing to projects related to their field of study.

Viola(Xiaoyu) subsequently joined Wind River in July 2021 as a Data Developer Intern. Here, they developed and deployed data preprocess and migration functions on AWS, built ELT pipelines for Snowflake database, and created connectors with Rest API calls and transformers.

Viola is currently working at DataChat Inc. as a Software Engineer. Viola(Xiaoyu) started in January 2022 and has continued to contribute to the company's software development projects.

Viola (Xiaoyu) Liu completed their Master of Science degree in Statistics-Data Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison between 2020 and 2022. Prior to that, they obtained their undergraduate degree in Statistics from Hunan University, graduating between 2016 and 2020. In addition to their formal education, Viola obtained certifications in "Learn Redis And Use Jedis With Spring Data Redis" from Udemy in November 2022, and in "Analyze City Data Using R and Tableau" from Coursera in August 2020.
