Maria Gould

Maria Gould is a seasoned professional currently serving as the Director of Strategic Programs and Partnerships at DataCite since January 2024. Previously, Maria held the role of Director at ROR - Research Organization Registry while also working as a Senior Product Manager for the UC Curation Center at the University of California Office of the President from November 2018 to January 2024. Maria's earlier experience includes the position of Scholarly Communication and Copyright Librarian at UC Berkeley Library and various roles at the Public Library of Science, including Documentation & Training Consultant and Manager. Maria's career began with editorial and program coordination roles at Meatpaper and the Center for the Art of Translation. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Library and Information Science from Simmons University, a Master of Arts in Latin American Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Arts in Latin American Studies from Wesleyan University, with a concentration in Anthropology.
