Sarah George

Sarah George is currently the Associate Director of Customer Partnerships at Datacom since May 2023 and has also been a Board Member at Footnote New Zealand Dance since September 2017. Prior experience includes various leadership roles at the Department of Corrections NZ from February 2020 to June 2023, where positions held ranged from Director Digital Business to Acting Chief Digital Officer. Sarah spent over a decade at Datacom from 2008 to 2020, contributing as General Manager and Lead Business Analyst on IT solutions for the New Zealand Government. Earlier career experiences include roles at IBM as an Information Technology Consultant, PwC as a Graduate Developer, and Accenture as an Intern. Sarah's background in dance includes performances with La La La Human Steps and the Royal New Zealand Ballet. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Victoria University of Wellington and a Diploma in Dance Performance from the New Zealand School of Dance.
