Andrew Henwood is a seasoned executive and information security entrepreneur. He is active in evangelising and recommending information security best practices through hands-on, managerial experience garnered from over 24 years of work in the industry. He has built and led global, industry-leading consulting teams, believing in principles of teamwork and trust.

He has deep exposure to innovative product development and cyber-related incident response, having being directly involved with many of the world’s largest data breaches in assisting in rapid triage, root cause analysis and communication to the board and regulatory authorities. Subsequent work included building out sustainable information and cyber risk frameworks to mitigate further risk by baking in security and resulting in tangible risk reduction through measurable and understandable metrics.

Andrew is a frequent public speaker, is a specialist in regulatory information security frameworks, payment security & compliance and has global relationships within the payment card industry, including card brands, banks, payment service providers and regulators and associated participants.

A founder and investor, Andrew has acute business acumen obtained through bootstrapping many business to rapid scale, worked through mergers and acquisitions and is acutely aware of associated high-growth challenges.
