Bill Birkholz

Bill Birkholz is currently the Director of InfoSec at Datadog, overseeing multiple compliance teams and ensuring adherence to various standards such as HIPAA, PCI, and GDPR. Prior to this role, Bill served as a Senior Director for Office 365 Compliance and held various compliance-focused positions at Microsoft from 2012 to 2022. Bill's career includes experience as a Lead HIPAA Security Officer at UnityPoint Health – Meriter and as a Computer Security Analyst at American Family Insurance. Bill earned a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Oregon and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
