Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Perot Systems from July 2004 to January 2008. In this role, they were involved in implementing OCR technology across the organization to improve productivity.

Manoharan Murugesan has a diverse education history. In 1997, they enrolled at the University of Madras for their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree, which they completed in 2000. Following this, from 2000 to 2002, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Information Technology at Alagappa University. To further enhance their skills, Manoharan pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, General from Alagappa University, which they completed in 2011.
