Daniel Barber

Daniel Barber is the CEO and co-founder of DataGrail. Daniel has also served on the board of INFORUM, a division of The Commonwealth Club, and was the CEO of GTM Orchestration.

Barber has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. Daniel began their career as a software engineer, before moving into product management and marketing roles. In these roles, they helped grow several startups from early stage to exit. In 2010, they founded DataGrail, a data management platform that helps companies comply with data privacy regulations.

Under Barber's leadership, DataGrail has grown rapidly, serving over 500 customers including DocuSign, Chorus.ai, and 6sense. In 2019, the company was named one of Forbes' "Top 25 Cloud Companies to Watch" and raised $15M in Series A funding.

Daniel Barber received their B.B.A from Eastern Michigan University in International Business & Marketing. Daniel then completed an exchange program at the University of Groningen. After that, they did another exchange program at the University of Düsseldorf. Finally, they completed a Survey Methodology & German program at the University of Michigan. Daniel is currently pursuing their M.B.A at Doshisha University in Global Comparative Management.
