Anuj Saigal has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Anuj started their career in 2005 at JPMorgan Chase as an Investment Banker. Anuj then moved on to work as an Associate in Strategy at SKS Microfinance in 2007, followed by a role as an Investment Associate at Lok Capital in 2008.

In 2009, Anuj joined the U.S. Department of Energy's Loan Programs Office, where they focused on clean tech investments. After a year, they left to pursue an MBA.

Post-MBA, Anuj worked at SunEdison for four years, starting in 2012. During this time, they held various positions including Associate in the Business Development/M&A Team, Senior Manager in the Distributed Generation Team, and Director in the Business Development and Product Owner in the Distributed Battery Storage division. Their responsibilities included overseeing the development of the C&I/distributed storage business, developing next-generation distributed generation product offerings, and leading the North American business segments' M&A unit.

In 2016, Anuj joined EVgo as the General Manager of the New Mobility Division before moving on to Nauto in 2017. At Nauto, they served as the Senior Director of Business Development and Revenue Operations, where they utilized artificial intelligence to enhance the safety of commercial fleets.

Anuj then transitioned to become an Investor at Hancock Park Ventures in 2020. Currently, they are working at Dataherald (YC W21) as the CEO and Co-Founder. Dataherald aims to make content creation more accessible for businesses using generative AI and structured data, leading to higher conversion rates.

Anuj Saigal has pursued higher education at prestigious institutions. Anuj holds an MBA degree from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. Prior to that, they obtained a BA in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley. Anuj also participated in the W21 program at Y Combinator and completed a BS degree from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. Furthermore, they were part of the 2020/21 Cohort at the Creative Destruction Lab.
