DataKind UK launched in April 2013 as DataKind's first Chapter and is its own independently-run charity that upholds DataKind's vision of using data in the service of humanity.  The UK data-for-good community is poised to make a big impact, with enthusiastic data scientists ready to give, a government deeply invested in using data to drive innovation and a vibrant charitable sector ready to embrace data to advance its work.
