Ismael Jaime Cruz

Ismael Jaime Cruz is an experienced data scientist with a solid background in data analytics and modeling across various industries. Currently serving as a Data Scientist at DataKind since August 2023, Ismael previously held data science roles at Sharecare and Digitas North America, along with a senior position at Mindshare, where notable contributions included developing a data-driven platform for media budget optimization and winning the 2018 I-COM Data Science Hackathon. Earlier in the career, Ismael worked as an Analyst at IGC Securities, Inc., where leadership led to the implementation of a successful exchange-traded fund, and experience began as an intern at HSBC Global Banking and Markets. Ismael holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from New York University, a Master of Applied Mathematics in Mathematical Finance and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from Ateneo de Manila University, as well as a Data Science Fellowship from NYC Data Science Academy.
