Musa F. Musayev is an experienced geoscientist and wellsite geologist with a comprehensive background in geological analysis and modeling within the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a WellSite Geologist and Mud Logger at DATALOG Geological Services since August 2018, Musa specializes in evaluating offset data and analyzing geological formations using various data sources. Prior positions include a role as a Geological Modelling and Data Base Senior Engineer at the Oil and Gas Research and Design Institute of SOCAR, where Musa conducted data interpretation and structural mapping, and as a Senior Geologist at Qobustan Operating Company, overseeing drilling projects and providing real-time data analysis. With a solid educational foundation comprising a Master’s Degree and Bachelor’s Degree from Azerbaijan State Oil Academy, Musa also held significant roles at Global Energy and Azerbaijan State Scientific Research & Design Institute of Oil-Gas Industry, contributing expertise in geological simulation, geophysical data quality control, and monitoring activities in various oil and gas fields.
