Susanne Katus

SVP, Market Leader, Corporate Secretary at Datamaran

Susanne Katus has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Susanne currently works at Datamaran, where they have held positions such as SVP, Market Leader, and Corporate Secretary since July 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Datamaran as VP Brand & Business Development and Corporate Secretary from January 2020 to July 2022, and as VP Business Development and Corporate Secretary from August 2014 to January 2020.

In addition to their role at Datamaran, Susanne is a member of Chief, a private network focused on empowering women in positions of power. Susanne joined Chief in September 2022.

Susanne is also a member of the Sustainability Practices Committee at the Society for Corporate Governance, starting in March 2022.

Susanne's earlier work experience includes roles at the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), where they served as an External Relations & Communications Officer for GRI North America from October 2013 to August 2014. Susanne was also a Conference Coordinator for GRI's Global Conference on Sustainability and Reporting in 2013. Susanne joined GRI as part of the Database Team in March 2012.

Before their time at GRI, they worked as a Researcher at the International Water Management Research Institute (IWMI) in 2011, focusing on a project related to water storage infrastructure and resettlement communities in Lao PDR.

Prior to that, Susanne worked briefly as a Sales Executive at Marcus Evans in 2010 and as a Teacher at Country Day School Guanacaste from August 2008 to June 2010.

Susanne Katus has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History and Archaeology from Washington University in St. Louis. Susanne also has a Master of Science degree in International Development from the University of Amsterdam. Additionally, Susanne has obtained a certification in GRI G4 Reporting from the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI). The specific months and years of when they obtained their certifications and completed their education are not provided.
