Dana Monocky

Dana Monocky has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Dana started their career as a Reporter and Control Room Assistant at Fordham Nightly News in 2011. Dana then interned at Nautica as a Public Relations intern in 2012, followed by a production internship at Fox News Channel in 2013.

In 2014, Dana joined Time Warner Cable as a News Intern and later transitioned to Fox News Media, where they held multiple roles. Dana served as a Production Assistant in the Media Desk, a Primetime Production Assistant, and a Guest Booker. During their tenure at Fox News Media, they gained valuable experience in production and booking guests.

In 2018, Dana shifted to the tech industry and joined Dataminr as a Sales Development Representative. Over the years, they progressed to become a Customer Success Associate and eventually a Customer Success Manager. Dana also acted as an Acting Customer Success Manager/Account Manager during their time at Dataminr.

In their most recent position at Dataminr, Dana held the role of Senior Customer Success Manager, focusing on Dataminr for News. Dana'sresponsibilities included managing customer relationships and ensuring their success with the platform.

Prior to their professional work experiences, Dana was recognized for their contributions in news producing at Carolina Week, where they won awards for Best Student News Producing and Best Student Newscast.

Dana Monocky holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Broadcast and Electronic Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, which they obtained from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they attended Fordham University from 2010 to 2012, where they studied Communication and Media Studies as well as Business Administration, although they did not obtain a degree from there. In addition to their formal education, Dana Monocky obtained a certification as a Certified Personal Trainer (NASM-CPT) from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) in January 2021.
