Ganesh Jagadeesan

Ganesh Jagadeesan has a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Ganesh is currently working at Dataminr as a Software Engineer III, specializing in AI. Prior to this, they held the position of Software Engineer II, also in the AI field, at the same company.

Before joining Dataminr, Ganesh worked as a Data Scientist at Raymond James. In this role, they collaborated with senior data scientists and infrastructure teams to develop a machine learning system for regulating email communications. Ganesh also contributed to the creation of a Flask API for serving NLP models and trained ML models on GCP using AI Platform.

Ganesh gained research experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at UIC Electronic Visualization Laboratory and as a Research Assistant at UIC College of Applied Health Sciences. Ganesh also worked as a Winter Intern at The Binary Workshop, where they developed an application for seat/room bookings and resource management for a co-working space.

Ganesh Jagadeesan completed their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science at SRM University from 2012 to 2016. Ganesh then pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science at the University of Illinois Chicago from 2017 to 2019.
