Robert Logan

Robert Logan has a diverse work experience in research and analysis. Robert is currently working as a Research Scientist, NLP at Dataminr since July 2022. Prior to this, they held various roles at UC Irvine, including Graduate Student Researcher from September 2018 to August 2022 and Reader from January 2017 to August 2022. Robert also worked as a Research Intern at Google from June 2021 to December 2021 and as a Research Intern at Google from June 2020 to September 2020. Additionally, they gained experience as a Machine Learning Intern at Diffbot from June 2017 to September 2017. Early in their career, they worked as a Research Analyst at Prologis from August 2014 to August 2016, where they utilized statistical and machine learning models for forecasting and collaborated on data management. Robert also served as a Research Assistant at UC Santa Cruz, where they contributed to a study on fertilizer cost effectiveness in Western Kenya from January 2013 to March 2013 and worked as a Learning Support Services Tutor from 2011 to 2013. Overall, Robert Logan has a strong background in research and analysis, with a focus on NLP and machine learning.

Robert Logan obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Mathematics from the University of California, Santa Cruz from 2009 to 2013. Robert then pursued their Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Science at UC Irvine from 2016 to 2018. Continuing their academic journey, Robert Logan completed their Ph.D. in Computer Science at UC Irvine from 2016 to 2021.
