Samah Abdeljaleel

Samah Abdeljaleel has a diverse work experience, starting in 2019 as a Personal Assistant at the Primary Health Care Corporation. In 2021, they worked as a Karaoke Host at Heroes. The following year, in 2022, they interned as a Center for Public Liberties and Human Rights Intern at Al Jazeera Media Network. Samah then joined the University of Melbourne's Anti-Racism Hallmark Research Initiative as a Research Intern, working on a stocktake project of existing anti-racism initiatives and organizations in Australia. In 2023, they became a Research Study Assistant at the University of Melbourne. Finally, in December 2022, Samah began working as an Analyst, Domain Expert at Dataminr, where they monitor high-impact events and analyzes data in multiple languages.

Samah Abdeljaleel's education history begins in 2015 when they attended Doha British School and pursued an International Baccalaureate Diploma, which was completed in 2019. Samah then proceeded to enroll at the University of Melbourne in 2020 and graduated in 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and International Studies. Following their undergraduate studies, they furthered their education at the University of Melbourne and completed an additional year of study to earn a Bachelor of Arts - Honours degree in Politics and International Studies in 2023.
