Sophie Ishak

Sophie Ishak has a diverse work experience, starting in 2013 as a Business Strategy Intern at Dixons Retail. In 2016, they worked as a Product Intern at Karhoo, where they led the planning for the Karhoo app's premier Rewards program and conducted market research for disruptive marketing campaigns. Sophie also worked as an Options Trading Intern at Bay Crest Partners, completing a trading masterclass and shadowing day traders.

In 2017, Sophie had multiple internships, including a Business Development & Product Intern role at OurCrowd, a Business Development Intern role at Sight Diagnostics, and an IOT Accelerator Intern role at Techstars.

Additionally, they served as a Head Campus Partner at Ground Up Ventures from 2017 to 2019.

Starting in 2018, Sophie returned to Dataminr as a Product Management Intern and later became an Associate Product Manager for the Customer Platform, where they owned the Customer Configurations product. Sophie currently holds the position of Product Manager (AI Platform) at Dataminr, which is a leading business in AI and Machine Learning innovation.

Sophie Ishak attended Highgate School from 2003 to 2015, where they earned A Levels in English (A*), Mathematics (A), History (A), and French (A), as well as 9A* and 2A grades in their GCSEs.

From 2015 to 2019, Sophie Ishak pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Information Science and Society as well as Psychology at Columbia University.

In addition to their formal education, Sophie also obtained Level 1 British Sign Language certification from the British Sign Language institution in May 2015. Sophie also earned certifications in Grade 5 Music Theory and Grade 5 Piano from ABRSM, although the specific dates of achievement are not provided.
