Verity Clay

Verity Clay has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Verity began their career in 2008 with an internship at the National Maritime Museum. From 2009 to 2011, they worked as a Writer for Sensation Magazine and also held the position of Gallery Assistant and Framer at Turtle Photography.

In 2012, Verity joined Supertravel as a Resort Manager before taking on the role of HR and Recruitment Manager in 2014. Verity then transitioned to PaymentSense in 2015, where they served as an Internal Recruiter and later as the Recruitment & Candidate Experience Manager.

In 2017, Verity joined Dataminr as a People and Talent Specialist, where they played a key role in utilizing AI and machine learning for real-time event detection and information analysis. Verity then progressed to positions such as Recruitment and HR Generalist, HR and Talent Manager for Europe, and Director of EMEA & APAC People. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Director of Talent Management and Development on a global scale.

Verity Clay attended the University of Sussex from 2005 to 2008, where they completed a degree program in History of Art and Anthropology. Verity obtained a 2:1 degree classification during their time at the university.
