Zena Symons

Zena Symons has extensive experience in product and project management within the data management sector, currently serving as a Product Manager at DataOrbis since March 2014. In this role, Zena oversees the management of platform improvements and ensures user requirements are met through collaboration with the IT Development team. Prior positions at DataOrbis include Service Delivery Manager, Projects Manager, and Senior Projects Analyst, where Zena focused on optimizing data management processes and securing new data sources. Earlier experience includes working as an Operations Analyst at the Department of Environmental Affairs and a Marine Research Intern. Zena holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biodiversity & Conservation Biology from the University of the Western Cape.
