Carlos Relvas

Carlos Relvas has a wealth of work experience in the data analytics field. Carlos began their career in 2010 with an internship in Research and Development at Banco Itaú. In 2012, they were promoted to Analyst of Research and Development, where they were responsible for statistical consulting and improvements in the modelling process of credit models using Statistical, Data Mining, and Machine Learning tools. In 2015, they moved to Nubank Brasil as Lead Data Scientist and also began teaching Machine Learning at FIA - Fundação Instituto de Administração. In 2019, they co-founded and became Chief Data Scientist of datarisk.io, and in 2021 they began their current role as Career Mentor for Data Analytics at SC Data & Analytics.

Carlos Relvas obtained a Bachelor's degree in Statistics from USP - Universidade de S\u00e3o Paulo in 2010, followed by a Statistics Master's Degree from the same institution in 2013. In 2016, they completed a Doutorado in Ci\u00eancia da Computa\u00e7\u00e3o from USP - Universidade de S\u00e3o Paulo. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera in August 2012.
