Jhonata Emerick

Jhonata Emerick has a wealth of work experience. Jhonata began their career in 2008 as a Private Equity Analist at NSG Capital, where they conducted research on potential customers and economic segments, data analysis and information in general; valuation of companies; structuring of investment funds (FIP). Jhonata then moved to Grupo Ambipar as a Coordinator M&A and new business in 2011. After that, they worked as an Insurance and Pension Risk Modelling Sr. Analyst at Itaú Unibanco in 2012. In 2014, they co-founded MovMov.it, a urban mobility company based in São Paulo Brazil, and also founded Prediction, a startup focused on analytics, modeling and bigdata. In 2016, they co-founded Rapiddo and in 2018, they co-founded Datarisk, a Full Stack Analytics Company, and RadSquare. In 2019, they became a Professor at FIA Business School and an Entrepreneur In Residence at Mercado Bitcoin, the largest Cryptocurrency Exchange in Latin America.

Jhonata Emerick began their educational journey in 2003 when they obtained a BA in Aeronautical Engineering from USP - Universidade de São Paulo. Jhonata then went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Quantitative Finance from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas from 2013 to 2015. Jhonata also attended Instituto de Matemática Pura e Aplicada in 2009-2010, although no degree was obtained. Currently, they are pursuing a PhD in Computer Engineering from Escola Politécnica da USP and a Master of Business Administration - MBA in Data Science from Instituto de Ciências Matemáticas e de Computação (ICMC) - USP.
