Oleksandr Shevchenko

Oleksandr Shevchenko is a highly skilled Staff Software Engineer at DataRobot since February 2019, with extensive experience in Data/Big Data Engineering, DataOps, and the Hadoop Ecosystem. Transitioning from Senior Data Engineer to Staff Software Engineer, Oleksandr has played various roles involving backend engineering (using Scala, Java, Kotlin, and Python), DevOps/CloudOps, tech leadership, and architecture. Prior to DataRobot, Oleksandr served as Java/BigData Software Engineer Team Lead at MapR Technologies, focusing on architectural design and implementation in Hadoop, and contributed to Cloud and IoT solutions at CyberVision, Inc. Oleksandr's early experience includes roles as a Junior Java Developer and Android Developer. Oleksandr holds both a Master's degree in Information Systems and Technologies and a Bachelor's degree in System Engineering from the National Technical University of Ukraine 'Kyiv Polytechnic Institute'.
