Katie Silversides

Katie Silversides is a Data Scientist - Geology at Datarock since September 2023. Katie (Katherine) has experience working as an Associate Editor at Computers & Geosciences since July 2018. In addition, Katie (Katherine) serves as the IAMG Newsletter Editor and Website Manager at the International Association for Mathematical Geosciences. Previously, Katie (Katherine) was a Research Fellow at the University of Sydney, focusing on applying data analytics, Bayesian modeling, and machine learning to solve natural resources issues. Katie has a Ph.D. in Geology from the University of Sydney and has worked on projects related to automated identification of geological boundaries in iron ore deposits.
