Maryam Ilyas

Maryam Ilyas has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Maryam began their career as a Cashier at AD Delhaize Sint-Lambrechts Herk from July 2014 to August 2019 while also working as an Administrative Assistant at UHasselt SEE from November 2018 to July 2019. During their time at UHasselt SEE, Maryam was responsible for organizing trainings and networking events, performing administrative tasks, and implementing automated solutions.

Maryam's internships include a role as an Intern at KBC Bank & Verzekering from September 2019 to January 2020, where they worked on restructuring data and rewriting algorithms to comply with new reporting standards. Maryam also served as a Marketing Research Intern at Lodewijckx, N.V. in July 2020, supporting the company's efforts to be a pan-European supplier of high-quality eggs and egg products.

In 2019, Maryam completed their Master dissertation on "Towards a comprehensible resource-aware hybrid process modelling language" at UHasselt, focusing on effective process communication and visualization. Maryam also worked at RTL Belgium as an MDM Solution Consultant and Developer from December 2020 to April 2021, where they implemented an MDM solution using Semarchy to govern metadata and ensure data quality and accuracy.

Maryam's most recent experiences include roles at Eneco Belgium as a Data Warehouse Developer from June 2021 to April 2022, contributing to the MIG 6 project, and at Keyrus as a Digital Customer Solutions Consultant from September 2020 to February 2023.

Currently, Maryam is working as an Analytics Translator at dataroots, starting in February 2023. Prior to this, they were a Campaign Expert at Carrefour from April 2022 to February 2023, where they focused on creating personalized campaigns using data.

Throughout their career, Maryam has demonstrated their ability to adapt to different industries and roles, utilizing their skills in data analysis, process modeling, and digital solutions to drive organizational success.

Maryam Ilyas completed their education in a chronological order. From 2015 to 2018, they attended UHasselt, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Information Systems Engineering. In 2017, Maryam had an exchange program at the University of Macau, where they studied in the Faculty of Business as part of their Bachelor's degree. Continuing their education, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Business and Information Systems Engineering at UHasselt from 2018 to 2020.

In addition to their formal education, Maryam obtained various certifications. In April 2021, they earned the "Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals" certification from Microsoft. In March 2021, they acquired the "Semarchy xDM Certification" from Semarchy. Moreover, in February 2023, they completed the "dbt Fundamentals" certification offered by dbt Labs.
