Nick Schouten

Nick Schouten has a diverse work experience in the field of Data Engineering. Nick is currently employed at Mediahuis nv as a Data Engineer since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked at dataroots as a Data Engineer starting from September 2019. Nick also served as a Data Engineer at Cake from October 2019 until November 2021.

Before venturing into the field of Data Engineering, Nick had internships at NXP Semiconductors for two consecutive summers in 2017 and 2018. During their internships, they worked on projects involving test setups and connections for various technologies and platforms. Nick also gained experience in programming languages like Python, Java, and C.

In addition to their internships and professional roles, Nick also had summer internships at Eweb Consult in 2013 and 2014.

Nick Schouten obtained a Bachelor's degree in Informatics from KU Leuven, which they completed from 2014 to 2017. Following that, they went on to pursue a Master's degree at KU Leuven from 2017 to 2019. Nick studied Master of Science in Engineering with a focus on Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence.
