Ryan McErlane has a diverse work experience. Ryan began their career in 2010 as an Intern at Accenture. In 2011, they became a Management Consulting - IT & Process Analyst at Accenture. In 2015, they joined Ernst & Young Advisory as a Manager - IT Advisory, where they were responsible for managing a portfolio of regulatory projects for a Large Irish Bank's Payments Transformation Programme. In 2019, they co-founded Dataships, where they helped companies grow their marketing audiences and comply with global data privacy laws.

Ryan McErlane obtained their Leaving Certificate from Blackrock College in 2007. Prior to that, they attended Mougins School in France from 2000 to 2002. Ryan then went on to pursue a BBL, Business & Law degree in Information Technology from UCD, which they completed in 2011. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Lean Six Sigma - Green Belt and Prince2 Certified Practitioner.
