Oliver Bartlett has a diverse work experience spanning different companies and roles. Oliver started their career at BBC Technology as a Graduate Project Manager in 2002 before moving to Siemens as a Business Analyst in 2004. In 2005, they joined BBC again and held various positions including Systems Delivery Manager, Technical Project Manager, Technical Analyst, and Product Manager. From 2010 to 2011, Oliver took a break to go on a cycle tour around South America. When they returned, they worked for the BBC as a Product Manager for BBC Food. In 2011, they became a Product Manager for Olympic Data Services, where they were responsible for building systems to deliver live stats and semantic data about the Olympics to BBC web apps. Oliver later joined Sky in 2015 as Head of Recommendations and Metadata, followed by a role as Principal Product Lead for Content Discovery. Currently, they are working at Datasparq as Principal Product Owner and was recently promoted to Product Director in January 2021.

Oliver Bartlett attended Elizabeth College, Guernsey, from 1987 to 1998. Oliver then went on to study at the University of Cambridge from 1998 to 2002, where they obtained a 2:1 degree in Engineering. No specific degree name or field of study is provided for their time at Elizabeth College.
